PATIO MISTING SYSTEM
PLEASE READ BEFORE USE
• Minimum 40psi working pressure is required to produce proper mist.
• Do not mount near or over any electronic appliances.
• Keep small parts away from children and pets.
INSTALLATION
Note: Plan your misting installation. Take five minutes to work out 1) how you will run the misting pipework, 2) where you should position the misting Nozzles, 3) where your water source will come from, and 4) where the supply pipeline will run and connect to your spigot or garden hose.
1. Start from the garden hose or spigot. Attach ¾’’ Garden Hose Adapter to your Outdoor Faucet.
2. Mount system 8FT-12FT above from the ground for the optimum cooling effect.
3. Mount and adjust nozzles at 45° angle to the ground, away from the covered portion of the patio.
4. IF AN INLINE WATER FILTER IS IN USE (Sold Separately), cut tubing allocated in above step to the desired length and install it after the ¾’’ Garden hose adapter and before the first Nozzle.
5. Use the provided clamps to secure the Mist line to your structure. Clamps should be placed approximately 2” from fitting joint. Use hangar clips or zip ties when attaching the mist line on tent & canopies (Sold Separately).
6. IMPORTANT: Before installing the Nozzles, turn on the water to flush out the entire line for 1-2 minutes to remove any debris from your installation.
7. Turn the faucet half way until Install nozzles one by one into the misting tee starting from the fitting that is closest from the water source. This step will remove any air from the line. HAND TIGHTEN ONLY.
8. Turn on the water all the way and enjoy the cool mist!
MAINTENANCE
1. If you are not using the system for longer periods of times, drain Water from your system after use. If the filter is attached to the line, drain the filter also.
2. Periodically clean nozzles by soaking them in a solution of CLR, or similar calcium and iron remover. (For best results, use Mistcooling nozzle cleaning solution (Sold Separately)
3. Periodically remove the last nozzle in the line and flush the system by running water through the tube one to two minutes to remove any air from the line.
4. It is highly recommended to use a water filter and maintain it to avoid nozzle clogging.
5. Prevent any immediate bends near fittings; clamps should be placed 2” from fitting joints.
WARRANTY
• Mistcooling.com will replace any defective parts up to 6 months from date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Other conditions may apply. Visit our website for complete details.
• Clogging of the nozzles is not a defect. Clogging is caused by poor the quality of water and lack of proper filtration. Use of sediment and/or scale filter is highly recommended
• Performance of the mist spray is dependent on the input pressure. If your nozzles are not spraying fully, it is likely that the input pressure is low.
